The recipient of this gift was going through radation
therapy for Cancer. His children all lived in other states,
but wanted to show they cared. He was instructed to
add a piece of the puzzle for each day of radiation.
When the puzzle was complete (as was his therapy)
there was a message from his kids. It reads:

"I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge
that myth is more potent than history
I believe that dreams are more powerful than facts
that hope always triumphs over experience
that laughter is the only care for grief
And I believe that love is stronger than death".

This idea is good for other occasions as well.
Situations that come to mind are: boot camp, last
semester of college, training for sporting event
(marathon, olympic trials, College World Series),
new job training, count down to major life event
(milestone birthday, anniversary, wedding, vacation).

This project took 2 weeks to complete (after receiving
all the photos) and cost $75. When split among the 4
children, the cost was $18.75 each.
